During the past months, our research group worked hard on Perspective topics studying synthetic polymers and plastic materials with the aim of preserving those cultural heritage objects manufactured with them.
Some of us had the chance to present some results of our research at international congresses, such as:
- Francesca Rosi (SCITEC) was invited to NOVA University Lisbon, where she held the seminar: “Development of tools and methods for analytical studies in Heritage Science“, 17 July 2024, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia Universidade Nova de Lisboa www.dcr.fct.unl.pt
- Francesca Rosi (SCITEC) presented at ICORS 2024 Roma 28th International Conference on Raman Spectroscopy – ICORS 2024 July 28 – 2 August 2024 – Rome, Italy as an invited speaker with a presentation titled “New integrated approaches in Heritage Science: correlative Brillouin and Raman microspectroscopy – BRaMS”
- Sabrina Samela (POLIMI) will present at EOSAM The European Optical Society Annual Meeting, EOSAM Naples, Italy, 9-13 September 2024. She will hold a speech entitled “LEGO® under stage light: studying the ABS light-stability through a complementary multi-analytical approach“.
- Alessandra Botteon (ISPC) will present at EOSAM The European Optical Society Annual Meeting, EOSAM Naples, Italy, 9-13 September 2024. She will hold a speech entitled “Raman spectroscopy advancements in Heritage Science”
